Here are some information on our Wi-Fi network. There have been reports that some of you could not login to the network. For your information, our system has some issues on showing the "successful message” when you are logged in using Google Chrome for smartphone. Some of students reported that the system loads for so long and nothing happened afterwards.
However, as long as you do not see error of "invalid username or password”, your sign in is actually successful. It is just the confirmation message is not shown to you. This issue happens if you use Google Chrome browser on your smartphone. Some suggestions to this problem are:
1) Use stock browser other than Google Chrome on your phone, e.g. the "Internet” apps if you are using Samsung smartphone, or "Safari” if you are using iPhone.
2) Install other third party browser from Google Play or Apps Store, e.g. Dolphin Browser or Opera
3) If you still want to use Google Chrome, just open a new tab and start surfing the Internet like usual without waiting for the "successful message”. There should be no problem to use the Internet as long as you do not get "invalid username or password” error.
