This course will introduce students with the general knowledge and concept of innovation, design and manufacturing and perform improvement and solve problem related to social issues within community. Development and implementation of the innovation and evaluating the performance of innovation. The steps involved are 1. Identify local society issues, problems and predicament. 2. Find solutions to these problems. 3. Then, propose product related to local community needs (improvement/ new product (tools/apps))
This course introduces the essential principles of engineering science that include thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, statics, kinematics and dynamics of rigid bodies, mechanics and materials. The course will be delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorial sessions and laboratory classes.
This module is a continuation of the previous
module (FYG1034). This module aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and
problem solving skills pertaining to extended basic concepts in Physics which
are present in optics, electricity & magnetism and modern Physics that form
the foundation in other Science- and Engineering-based courses.
This
course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills pertaining
to basic conceptual Physics which are present in everyday applications.
Students should also appreciate the fact that Physics forms the foundation in
other Science-based courses.
