This course covers an introduction to PLC. Exploring what a PLC is, operation, usage, instructions, applications, hardware selection and configuration, introductory programming example and exercises, and some troubleshooting hints. The accompanying lab manual gives the student hand-on programming and hookup exercises.
This course introduces to students the basic electrical circuits and electronics encompasses the SI units, elements in electrical circuit and how to apply the Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff’s law in electrical circuits. Besides the students will be exposed to the methods of analysis in current circuits. They are also being introduced to the application in automotive electrical and electronics.
This course will
introduce students with the general knowledge and concept of electrical
circuit, describe the functions and characteristics of components in the
electrical and analyze the performance of electrical circuit for a specific
design.
