This course is a core module. The rationale to include this module in the academic program is because it is able to strengthen and enhance the academic program. It introduces the students to the concept of an organization, manager and the ideologies underpinning management. Students should be able to understand the different functions of an organization; planning, organizing, leading and controlling. The course will expose students to various management concepts such as communication, motivation, quality management and ethics & social responsibility. Students must pass this module.
