Relational of the course: A course that provides exposure and basic understanding to students regarding the science behind materials for understanding how structure or property or characteristics relationships are developed and used for different types of materials. 

CLO1: Explain atomic structure and bonding of solids.

CLO2: Describe phase diagrams and phase transformations.

CLO3: Describe different types of material in related to their structures, properties, and applications.
